This Japanese whisky is a single malt, not my cup of tea, and did poorly in our tasting.  There was one taster who likes Scotch, and he gave it a 9.  What’s interesting is this one, and Nikka Yoichi Single Malt, make up the Nikka “Whisky From the Barrel” blend.  The blend did better than its component part.
