This is a 12 yr old rum from Guyana, in my 1st rum tasting, we tasted 3 El Dorados, comparing ages amongst the same brand. The results were interesting. I feel some people look for taste over a drink being smooth, a little burn doesn’t bother them, others value smooth over taste.
The 12 year is flavorful, but has a definite, burn.
