This is a 15 yr old rum from Guyana, in my 1st rum tasting, we tasted 3 El Dorados, coming ages amongst the same brand. The results were interesting. I feel some people look for taste over smoothness, a little burn doesn’t bother them, others value smooth over taste.
The 15 year, did poorly on the ratings, compared to the other two. I would agree, I find the taste muddled compared to the 12 year. It’s obviously not as smooth as the 21 year. I’d buy something else at this price range.
