This is a rum from it comes in 20 year, 25 year and 30 year. We tried the 20 year in the 2nd tasting. Trying the 25 yr now. I really liked the 20 yr one, and I think the 25 year will be that much better. I don’t think I can afford the 30 year.
It’s from Costa Rica, not a lot of rums I find are from Costa Rica. Panama seems like a big producer, not Costa Rica though. At least if they have one, it’s a good one!
The 20, 25, and 30 year old rums are all made in the solera style aging, so those years represent the oldest spirit in the bottle. all made from local sugar can and aged in oak.
