The 1880 replaced my favorite Grand Marnier, Cuvée Du Cent Cinquantenaire, which used to be $225/bottle, vs the $400/bottle for 1880. Also the Cuvée Du Cent Cinquantenaire used to state, ‘50 yr old cognac’ vs no age statement on the 1880.
Don’t get me wrong, the 1880 is good, but they don’t really promise anything, so why is it $400.
