We tried the Tapatio Anejo, in the 2nd Tequila tasting, and it did pretty well, so we figured we should try the Extra Anejo.  It was hard to find, in Canada it’s 750ml, in the US it seems to be in 1L bottles.

Sadly, it didn’t do too well.  I have to say it wasn’t my favorite either, a little too oaky for me.  I know in the tequila groups it is revered.  I like Pasote Anejo better, I even like Tapatio Anejo better.  We’ll have to get Pasote XA, to compare.

I won the bottle, so hopefully I can get a Pasote XA.  I’m wondering if I like Anejo better than I like Extra Anejo (XA).
