Canadian Whisky Tasting (April 25th, 2024)
This is our 3rd Canadian Whisky Tasting. The bottles in question were;

This was our 3rd Canadian Whisky tasting, but our first in awhile, the 2nd Canadian Whisky tasting was in January 2022, and the 1st Canadian Whisky tasting was October 2020.
Most of these bottles and brands are not available in the US, so I can’t really do a US dollar comparison, since no one stocks them, in the US, that I’ve found.
We had 12 people on Zoom, and thankfully everyone voted individually. We lost 2, due to last minute cancellations.
In terms of guessing the bottles, Marco was the winner this month with 4 out of 7, Allison got 3 correct. The Alberta Premium Cask Strength Rye was a bit of a give away, at 66%, 132 proof. But Allison got the Crown Royals correct, and Marco got the Signal Hills correct, and the CR Winter Wheat.
I tried to make the guessing easier, so you can put your guesses online, but there was some mis-understanding with Ron/John/Brandon/Ken and Frank, hopefully in Sept this goes over smoothly.
The Winners!
The winner was clear! An 8.8 overall, vs the next closest ones were 7.6, and 7.5. It was Signal Hill, their regular one, at $40, it even beat out J.P Wiser 35 yr, at $250, the Gretzky 99 proof one, at $99, and even their own Signal Hill Premium (Cask Strength) bottle, that took me awhile to find.
