Maple Whisky Tasting (April 16th, 2021)
This is our 2nd Maple Whisky Tasting. The bottles in question were;

This is our 2nd forey into Maple Whisky, we had 16 participants. It’s definitely a ‘lighter’ tasting, not so serious than some of our other categories. We had bottles from Ontario, some from Quebec, and even one from Alberta. We had participants from Quebec, Ontario, Alberta, and BC. Funny enough the sole bottle from Alberta, won the competition, with an 8.4 average rating, followed by the Sortilege that won our 1st Maple Whisky tasting, and the Crown Royal Maple finished, in 3rd. I don’t count the creme’s scores, but maybe that’s not fair, considering they do so well at times, in these tastings!
It was good Marcia was there to pace us, otherwise I would have finished the whole tasting in an hour.
The next tasting is Mezcal in May, and Gin after that, in June. I have few volunteers to help me choose the Gin selection, I’m happy about that, since I know nothing about Gin.
